Engineering analysis of various structural elements are performed utilizing commercial and in-house software developed for use on personal computers. Low and high-rise rigid frames are designed using commercial and in-house software.

     The firm uses IBM PC Compatible personal computers dedicated to producing drawings with Auto Cad, Release 14 or 2000 software. Drawings are plotted using Hewlett Packard Design Jet 650C and 700E size plotters on vellum or polyester film.

     Structural specifications for each project are prepared by using word processing from master specification disks for personal computers. A set of specifications is drafted for each project, proof read and electronically edited by the design engineer, formatted to meet each client's requirement and then produced on a laser printer.

     Computers are used in the preparation of construction cost estimates. The latest Means Cost Data for structural elements are put into a database. These estimates can be produced on an electronic spread sheet so that bottom line alternatives can be instantly evaluated.
