Roberts and Thoma, Inc., Consulting Engineers was founded in Lubbock, Texas in 1984 following four years as the structural division of Fanning, Fanning and Agnew, Inc. In April, 1996, the firm was reorganized and the name was changed to RTR Engineers, Inc. But since the beginning of 2007, the name was changed to Thoma Engineering, Inc. The firm has a staff of five, including one registered Professional Engineer.

     Thoma Engineering, Inc. was originally founded by Evan Roberts and Rusty Thoma, and boasts a wide range of structural achievements and accomplishments within the company, including work done in five states: Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Oklahoma and Georgia.
